An upgraded EPUB reader with semantic search
Damn, Apple's Books is so bad! It slows down and ending up crashing all the time. No matter what, with the willing support of Claude Code I set up an alternative in less then 5 hours. Well, a little upgraded compared to the vast majority of the readers, since I needed to implement a semantic search plus a direct connection to the amazing library of "Gutemberg Project". So now you can leverage semantic search to get the right spot with more precision, and download tons of books directly from the Gutemberg's library without having to search for them on their platform, so that you basically have all in the same place. Well, I needed that, maybe would be good for you too.
Text highlight available too in 4 colors (notes).
To make semantic search the system indexes the content of your books, so eventually just give it the time to complete the process, which can take up to generally 30/50 seconds.
At the moment is available only for MacOS
