He his is Mond, an Armenian explorer I had the pleasure of meeting during a difficult excursion in the Khosrov reserve. In his legs there is still an extraordinary strength, he speaks very little, and although he already knows a lot about the area, he continues to mark something in his notebook. At the time of writing, he should be approximately 75 years old.
For years he has explored Armenia and marked trails, leaving the country with an immense legacy of information on nature trails. He is the man they call when there is a need to carry out search and rescue operations in the most inaccessible areas.
I portrayed Mond at the end of a hard climb, I remember that he often left the group to follow alternative paths, perhaps not yet practiced, and this is the moment when he reappeared among us.
